Tips for booking
- Book ahead for the dry season and holidays — the limited number of rooms in town fills up fast.
- Decide between beachfront (steps from the surf, more social) and hillside (cooler, quieter, with views).
- Many stays can arrange airport or Tonosí transfers, board rental and tours — ask when you book.
- Bring cash: card acceptance is limited and the nearest reliable ATM is back in Tonosí.
